As it is very close to Darjeeling one can have day’s trip to Darjeeling. One can view the unforgettable sunrise on Mt.Kanchenjungha instead of going to Tiger Hill. Chatakpur is just the next to the famous Tiger Hill. The sunset view is also an experience of a lifetime from here.
How to reach:
It is on the way to Darjeeling. Chatakpur is 80 kms from NJP and just 7 kms away from Sonada. Shared Vehicles are available to Darjeeling. One has to get down at Sonada and take a local taxi for rest of the way. Car on hire exclusively is also an option. Where to Stay:
