Rangeet Majua is an unexplored beautiful Himalayan village by the river Sawaji khola surrounded by Singalila Forest range, with untouched flora and fauna. The village is located on the way to Bijanbari from Mane Bhanjang and distances about 5 kms from Manebhanjan. Memorizing Darjeeling situated about 28 kms and it will take around an hour to reach Rangeet Majuwa from Darjeeling.

It is one of the offbeat tourist destinations is North Bengal around Darjeeling. Rangeet Majua situated at an altitude of 5000 ft. and around 5km away from Maneybhanjyang on Indo-Nepal border. It rests on the lap of Mother Nature on the bank of Sawaji Khola - a tributary to the Rangeet River. Rangeet Majua or Majua village is ideal for those who want to enjoy the solitude, calm and peaceful environment with soothing chirps of birds and the magical dance of verities of butterflies.

How to reach:

Nearest railway head is New Jalpaiguri and nearest airport is Bagdogra, direct car are available from NJP and Siliguri and distance around 82 Kms from NJP/Siliguri.
Travellers also can reach Rangeet Majua from Darjeeling, it will take around an hour to reach. Shared transportation is available up to Ghoom. The road from manebhanjang to majuwa is unmetalled village road, and sharply downhill.The distance is only 5 km, but the road condition is bad, so it takes more than 30 mins to travel those 5 km.
